At Comfort Paws Veterinary Care, our mission is to make high-quality animal care accessible within the comfort of your home. With mobile vets that come to your house, you and your pet can experience a calmer and more supportive visit that focuses on comfort and wellbeing.
While working in traditional animal hospitals, we saw how difficult it was for many pets with chronic conditions to travel for frequent checkups. Pets with mobility issues, anxiety or limited transportation options often missed the care they needed most, which decreased their comfort and quality of life. We created Comfort Paws to change that. Through gentle house vet calls and compassionate mobile vet house calls, we support pets who feel safest at home. As a team of vets that make house calls, our mission is to make high-quality care accessible for the pets who need it most.

EXCELLENT Based on 76 reviews Posted on Lauren LoncarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can't explain how grateful I am to Dr. Irons. She truly made my cat Pickle's last day perfect and peaceful. We had spent a great last day with our boy, and had a euthanasia booked the following day. He started to decline quickly and Dr. Irons made herself available to us VERY last minute. Without her I think we would of had to take him into the ER to say goodbye. As soon as she came into the room Pickle walked up to her. She was calming, kind, respectful, and he was ready. All that evening I just kept thinking about how thankful I am for her and how important the work she does is. I will be using her for our other cats in home care in the future. Thank you Dr. Irons. Forever appreciative of you.Posted on Mishell KneelandTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Irons is amazing! We've had 2 well visits and a sick visit and I should have done this a long time ago. First off, she comes to you, which reduces stress on my sweet, old (she is 18!!!), stinky kitty. But beyond that, she is smart, compassionate, efficient, thorough, and caring. She listens and really thinks holistically about what is best for your pet. I can't recommend Dr. Irons enough!!!Posted on Arielle RawdingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my first experience with an at-home service and it was so much less stressful than trying to bring my cat in somewhere. When I saw the appointment request process I was a little concerned that it would take a while to hear back, but I heard from the team quickly. Dr. Irons has been prompt to respond with any updates from the tests or questions I’ve had since.Posted on Nicole NajafiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Irons is wonderful. This was my first at-home visit for my cat who gets very stressed at the vet. She is also highly brachycephalic, so stress strains her breathing. Dr. Irons was so patient with her, gave her lots of breaks to catch her breath, and did the treatments very efficiently to minimize my cat's discomfort and stress as much as possible. Dr. Irons has an A+ bedside manner. I worry about my cat a lot and she was really calming, patient, and reassuring to me. I would not do an office vet again now that I have discovered Dr. Irons.Posted on Marnie KunzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have never used a mobile vet before but I wish I’d done it sooner! Dr. Irons was excellent- very thorough, helpful, professional and caring for my senior dog and her medical needs. She provides a great service for anyone with pets with mobility issues or a lot of anxiety going to the vet. My dog was so much more relaxed at home and Dr. Irons was able to provide treatment well without the hassle of bringing my anxious dog to the vet.Posted on Kat Donnelly-WrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Irons is amazing! I felt like she was the first vet to really understand our cat. He really dislikes going to the vet’s office so it was hard to get a true picture of his health. Dr. Irons was able to get a full picture of how he’s doing because she made him feel so calm in our own home. She is also patient and understanding. Any pet who sees her will be in great hands.Posted on LaurenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Irons is one of the nicest and companionate VETs I’ve ever encountered in the 19 years I’ve been visiting different doctors all over the City for my cats. I reached out to her last year because both my cats were getting older and I wanted an easier experience with someone coming over here so they could be calmer at home. A few months ago, she immediately figured out with a blood test (before the oncologists at VERG) that my fur baby had cancer again, even though he had been to VERG a few weeks before with the oncologist on staff there. We recently had to put one of my fur babies down and they moved appointments around so we could do the procedure later so my daughter could say goodbye after she got back from school. Dr. Irons was professional, gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye how we wanted. I’m so thankful we found Dr Irons and highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for an at home vet. Thank you!Posted on Matthew WhippleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Irons is the only vet I’ve been to that I felt truly cared about my animals. We originally reached out to her to check on our super senior cat who ended up having cancer. She was a huge help and resource during the euthanasia process. We valued her honesty and care so much we now use her as our vet. Our other two cats are anxious former shelter cats and having the ability to do home visits is amazing. Thank you for all you do!Posted on Lovy KinkyCoilsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Irons I don’t know where to start.. I had no clue my baby (shitzu poodle) pebbles was in pain. When you gave her an initial check up and told me some of her teeth were bad and she needed to get a few extracted by being put to sleep I was heartbroken. My baby is 13 years old with a heart murmur from birth therefore I was afraid. Everyone who is reading this please hear me, I set the appointment & her secretary Kim omg who I must say is amazing called me and made sure I was comfortable. My dog had the procedure and I immediately saw the difference, when she came home she was groggy of course but that didn’t stop her from eating (lol) after three days she was so energetic she started wanting to naw on her bone that she didn’t want to play with for a few years ( due to mouth hurting ) which I took because procedure was still fresh. Her breath now smells amazing & she is more active . I don’t know how to thank Dr. Irons and her staff I wish I could give 10 stars. Simply Amazing . Thank you again Marie
